Visiting facilities, feeling mute
Saw three facilities yesterday and will contact some more today. As I'm studying them, I can't imagine placing him anywhere outside his home. Yet, when he got into bed last night he didn't even know he was home.
"This can't be home."
"Where are you?"
"In the hospital."
I've been in huge denial.
Tomorrow is his birthday. I ask him what he wants. He says "peace."
